Knife and Tomahawk Throwing
Experience a pastime from the Old West by learning how to throw knives and tomahawks with safety and precision! Our lead wrangler has decades of experience and instructs participants on proper grip and throwing techniques. This activity is available to adults and children ages 10+.
Shoot-Out
Feel like a true cowboy or cowgirl when you learn how to handle and fire a gun and take part in a real shoot-out! This activity is available to adults and children ages 12+.
Hiking
Here at Tarryall River Ranch, we have direct access to trails in both Pike National Forest and Lost Creek Wilderness; two areas of natural beauty. While the elevation gain can be breathtaking in its own way, don’t worry – the views are worth it! Our staff offers guided sunrise hikes to Lizard Rock, a popular local landmark on selected days.
Fly Fishing
Experience one of Colorado’s favorite pastimes by getting out on the water to do some fly fishing, on a surprisingly productive, and accessible mountain stream. Tarryall River runs through the ranch’s property and every year we make sure it’s well stocked for our guests to enjoy. For guests who don’t have their own gear, we do provide rental packages. *A valid Colorado fishing license, obtained prior to arrival, is required for all adults. Minors wishing to fish must be accompanied by a licensed adult. Obtain your license online here.
Pool and Hot Tub
Colorado may be a land-locked state, but ranch guests can still enjoy time in the water! Our ranch features a heated pool and a hot tub for guests to enjoy throughout their stay.
Trading Post
